The Indus-Sarasvati Civilization: In this lecture, we will introduce students to the Indus-Sarasvati Civilization and its immense contribution in shaping the Indian Culture in its present form. This civilization made significant achievements, especially in fields of urbanism and technology. A lot of cultural traditions and practices in India today can be traced to the Indus Sarasvati Civilization. It has a considerable legacy in areas as diverse as construction techniques, technology, metrology, religion, arts and crafts.
The Aryan Debate: In this lecture, we will explore the myths behind Aryan Invasion Theory. This theory is a colonial construct aiming to distort the identity of Indians. It has also obfuscated the chronology of Indian history. It was also constructed with the purpose of dividing Indian society into various fragments. We will also understand how this dominant yet unfounded narrative is still influencing Indian society and polity. We will also present the true Indian history without any colonial biases; based on various inter-disciplinary studies.
